"Monochrome" is an amalgamation of modern classical composition, jazzy exotica and screeching guitar feedback. However, the inspiration for the EP goes much further than that: film noir, stylized comic panels, Miro and David Lynch/Angelo Badalamenti all contributed to the frantic, alienating atmosphere of the record. In this world of darkness, the few bright spots will be greatly appreciated.
