Tristeza Orange

(Greek, Cyprus)

Tristeza Orange was formed in 2001 after some tape/noise experiments went wrong and turned out pretty listenable. The one steady member throughout the whole decade has been Antonis Tsagaris, using synths, guitars, treated vocals and kitchen devicesto create a world of sound that's in equal parts wondrous and eerie. Antonis has also written music for theater, a computer game by Piste Gamez called Q-Lat 3 and has also released a record under his alter-ego jazz pop project Electric Sound Continuum.
